OnePlus has unveiled two new Nord series phones. The Nord N10 5G costs slightly less than the regular Nord and can handle 5G. The N100 is an affordable entry-level model with less powerful hardware.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 official
The OnePlus Nord line now consists of three devices. The "normal" OnePlus Nord, which has been available since last summer, is accompanied by two devices with a sharper price tag. The OnePlus Nord N100 costs 199 euros and the Nord N10 5G costs 349 euros. It is still unclear if and when the telephones will be released in the Netherlands. In this article we will discuss both models.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G: Affordable 5G
Starting with the OnePlus Nord N10 5G, the more expensive of the two. As the name suggests, the unique feature of this device has to do with 5G. The 349 euro device can handle the successor to 4G, which is also increasingly being rolled out in the Netherlands. These are the main features of the OnePlus Nord N10 5G:

The camera module on the back also stands out. The 64-megapixel main camera is assisted by an ultra-wide-angle lens, a macro camera for close-up pictures and a monochrome lens. With the latter you can take black and white photos. The selfie camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels.
This is the OnePlus Nord N100
Furthermore, OnePlus has announced a considerably cheaper entry-level model. The Nord N100 is marketed as an "entertainment" phone. The powerful dual stereo speakers are ideal for listening to music and thanks to the large screen and the large battery, watching movies is also no problem. These are the main specs of the OnePlus Nord N100:

The Nord N100 has three cameras on the back. The primary camera is supported by a bokeh lens for portrait photos and macro camera. You use this for taking close-up photos.
All in all, the OnePlus Nord N100 is a more affordable alternative to the N10 5G and regular OnePlus Nord. You compromise on processor power, working memory and storage, charging speed and cameras. On the other hand, the price difference is between 150 and 200 euros.
OnePlus Nord line is expanding
The Nord line from OnePlus now consists of three devices. Last summer they released the basic model, which is simply called OnePlus Nord. This device is a more affordable alternative to devices such as the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T, which are all hundreds of euros more expensive.
The Nord N10 5G can also handle 5G, but it is equipped with slightly less powerful hardware. However, that difference is easy to explain when you look at the recommended prices. A separate OnePlus Nord costs 399 euros, for the N10 5G you pay 50 euros less. The entry-level device from the Nord line is therefore the N100, which is a lot more affordable at 199 euros.
